July 2018: Championship plants get re-homed!

We were delighted to be contacted by Groundwork London, asking if we knew or had any local projects that would benefit re-homing plants that had been used at the Wimbledon Championships.

With the help of Sustainable Merton, we have found our own champions to look after some of these plants in local schools and other community gardens.

On a rather hot Friday, the plants have waited in anticipation for their new owners to take them home for a long drink!

Thank you Wimbledon Foundation and Groundwork.  It is a fabulous project and we hope it continues each year for the benefit of people and the environment.
