Festival Walk is an area of land alongside the water channel abutting some of the properties built there, dating from the18th century. It is a notable scenic part of Carshalton with a famous plane tree marked with a plaque.

Old Rectory Lodge and its wall are listed structures.

Festival Walk forms part of Sutton Ecology Centre, under the auspices of London Borough of Sutton’s Biodiversity Team and is the main resource for environmental education in the borough. Here you can find out about wildlife habitats, wildlife and organic gardening, the use of compost and alternative energy sources and recycling.
