In 2016, Merton Council worked in partnership with the Friends of Ravensbury Park to install a new viewing platform to allow safe and easy access to the lake in Ravensbury Park.

A hardcore path connecting the Wandle Trail to the viewing platform was also added to enable buggies, wheelchair users and cyclists to easily reach the lake.

Visitors to the park can now easily view the lake’s wildlife and the Friends have a safe entry point to the water for carrying out habitat management tasks.

The Friends of Ravensbury Park hold regular task days on-site throughout the year and are always looking to welcome to new faces!
