Also known as Wandsworth Old Burial Ground, this parish graveyard was established in the 1830s with the last burial taking place in the 1930s. It’s now a public park with few remaining headstones but an ornamental entrance from Garratt Lane.

Like Mount Nod burial ground nearby, it has connections with the Huguenot community – French protestants who emigrated to the area to flee persecution in Europe in the 17th century, bringing their weaving skills with them. Some of the headstones bear the name Chatting, an anglicised version of the Huguenot name Chatelaine.

The park is mostly laid to grass, but with spring bulbs providing a splash of colour along the pathway. Locals find it a refreshing green space to get away from the busy shopping street nearby.
