The Wandle Valley has a rich history deriving from its industrial heritage. It also has unique natural environmental and wildlife attributes. In order to protect this for existing and future generations, we are building a new regional park. On these pages you can find out more about the man-made and natural history of this fabulous area, trace the development of the Wandle Valley Regional Park and discover the treasures in the Wandle Library.

It’s your park – Get Involved!
Building a new regional park in the Wandle Valley is a big job. We can’t do it without the continued support of volunteers, organisations and valuable donations made to support our Trust to deliver and protect the park. Volunteer, work for the Trust, make a donation to make the park more beautiful for future generations, report things you have seen, send us stories, photographs and give us your ideas for new projects.
